University collaboration represents a dynamic partnership between academia and industry, fostering knowledge sharing, driving innovation, and bridging the gap between organizations and educational institutions. Since 2016, the HCL DFMPro team has started collaborating with academic institutes and universities to bridge the gap between real-world applications and the theory students learn in universities.

Under this program, the HCL DFMPro team has developed comprehensive study materials distributed to colleges and institutions, including DFM subject coursework, product design guidebooks, and demo videos. The university students get an opportunity to listen to various subjects, including case studies, design concepts, product lifecycle, new industry trends, new ways of design, the latest materials for product design, and their environmental impact. HCL DFMPro also provides its latest software licenses to universities. Students gain practical experience with the software, which better equips them to make meaningful contributions in the real world upon graduation

As part of our commitment, we provide educational licenses of Geometric DFX, Geometric Stackup, and other products free of charge to colleges and universities through MOU agreements. In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, this collaboration serves as a vital catalyst, preparing students for real-world challenges and facilitating significant advancements in academia and industry.
